Currently, we allow customers to request any number of products in the BOS XML service that they would like to receive. The problem with this is it is not efficient as it adds a lot of time to get a response back to the customer. We need to put a maximum request number for products in the request. If this number is surpassed, the user will get an error stating that they have surpassed the maximum for a request. The maximum should be set at 10 products requested. For BOS, the max for products selected (loanProduct1, loanProduct2, etc) should be 5. In addition to this, we need to add a parameter to override this setting that can be supplied to the lender if they would like to request more and go outside of best practices. This will be used for legacy customers. When this parameter is passed, we will return pricing for an unlimited number of products unless there is a reason we need to set a max based on performance.
Partner Tracking project pretty much does the same thing.
