ERD Update

  • Outlook has made an update that is not allowing emails sent to Mortech to be processed through ERD. Affecting 3 investors currently.
    These customer rates have to be removed from ERD and ran manually each day, requiring DIG to monitor the rates email for their arrival.
  • Two investors (Franklin American (110 mutual customers) and LenderLive (20 mutual customers) send rates via dynamic link that must be updated each day to run. ERD could extract that link from the email to allow this to be an automated process. 
  • The "Test this rule" button doesn't return an error if it fails, it just spins forever.

These issues require DIG to stop other work to update runfiles each day for what could be an automated process.

    The previous MSTNEF format of emails could be read by ERD. It appears that the latest MSTNEF format differs slightly. ERD recognizes that there are TNEF attachments but cannot read them. We'll need to update ERD to read this newer format. Assuming that this is related to newer version of Outlook, this problem will only get worse as more clients begin to use it.
