Rate Update Notifications - which ID?

Rate update notifications are sent when rates are posted. For some investors this is based on Investor ID, and for some Parent ID.


  • DIG/AMs don't know how an investor is flagged
  • If flagged by Parent ID - Rate information is based on the Parent ID, so if there are no rates tied to that ID, all updates show zero change.
  • If flagged by Parent ID, time of update can be misrepresented.
    • for example: Chase Parent updates 10 minutes before the last Investor ID. So that customer sees an update 10 minutes before their rates are actually available. 

We can't just base all on Parent ID.

We need a solution that offers both options, visibility, and the ability to establish preference for a new investor build.

DIG would also like to remove pricing from Parent IDs with multiple Investor IDs to prevent the Parent ID from being added to a customer account in error. That project is contingent on this issue.

    BOB Meeting Notes:

    • Also triggers the red and green notiifications in Marksman.
    • This is separate from other email issues we have been experiencing and has the highest volume of them all.
    • How do customers want to be notified?
    • This cannot go down - customers would notice.

    It has been determined by the group that additional feedback is necessary to determine what the customers actually want and what would be the best way to handle this going forward. Moving to Backlog for now.
