We know that the Marksman widgets are no longer pricing as expected, the feature is no longer supported, and that customers are not recommended to use them.
Recently, on March 22nd, a customer attempted to use one of the widgets "Instant Rate Finder" and reported that the pricing was inaccurate (IRSLA-1250). A week later, the research showed that this should have been a known issue due to the turn down of rate bot. We also know that the amortization schedule within the widget uses an incorrect value for calculating MI. This creates a very bad customer experience and chips away system trust.
I am proposing that we do one of three things.
1) remove the pricing widgets that we know are inaccurate from Marksman either by removing them or hiding the page from users
2) add language on the page clearly stating we are turning down the widgets and do not recommend folks use them.
3) fix the widgets so that they are accurate.
